The focus on this project is on design conception and the process used for achieving the final design.

The intention is to create a final prototype 1:20 scale model. Issima is a centrally located sales kiosk in a shopping complex. Issima is not just another beauty store: it’s home to some of the most lusted after and hard to get beauty products. The limitations and requirements for the design were: sufficient sales counter for sales display areas for merchandise private desk area with data-power-voice outlets, sufficient lighting for the display bold and visible signage. All aspects of the design brief were met.

The final Issima design has risen from a number of sketches and preliminary space planning drawings, which were assessed and approved by the client. A fresh, clean, streamline design that encompasses the client’s direction has been created.

YMA have been commissioned to redesign the space to cater from predominately business people to now high-end tourists. YMA have designed the one bedroom suite from the existing minimalist interior to an environment more befitting the client’s vision.

The solution to combine function with comfort within a realistic budget. The final Lux design has risen from a number of sketches and preliminary space planning drawings, which were assessed and approved by the client. The design is modern, not too conservative, whilst not being too flamboyant.

YMA Interior Designs

The focus of this project is a self-managed project. YMA were commissioned by ADIDAS to design and fit-out the lower level of a corporate building. The aim - to provide corporate offices for the new ADIDAS marketing team moving into the St. Georges Terrace Site, as well as a retail space for the ADIDAS Originals Store and adjacent Café.

Office spaces are now designed not only to promote a company’s professional intentions but also to provide a fresh and inviting space for their loyal employees. There is also a lot more freedom with larger open spaces as technology has allowed building products, furniture and finishes to be less invasive. This design solution is of no exception.

The final ADIDAS office design has risen from a number of sketches and preliminary space planning drawings, which were assessed and approved by the client. This office space provides the team with a creative and collaborative friendly environment whilst complimenting the company’s image and direction.

YMA Interior Designs

The focus of this commercial retail project is on a client with strong connections to the art community. The aim is to provide a space to display the art and illustrative efforts of lessor-known practitioners and also disseminate knowledge via the written word.

YMA have been commissioned to design the fit-out of the interior for the Harbour Town development in West Perth.

Despite growing interest in visual culture from both producers and consumers, there remains limited professional development or support from the increasing number of young emerging artists in making a living through commercial illustration. The whole reason behind INKT.

YMA have designed the bathroom using a contrast of fluid and linear elements inspired from waters different states. Crosby Tiles adorn the floors and walls. The final UrbanH2Oasis design has risen from a number of sketches and preliminary space planning drawings, which were assessed and approved by the client.

YMA Interior Designs

The focus of this project is to design and cost the interior of an up market golf course kiosk and temporary golf shop for the licensee of the Wembley Golf Course Tavern.

The courses and building have recently been upgraded with additional change rooms and site works, incorporating holding ponds, visible from the proposed function room.

The shire is anxious to provide expanded kiosk facilities in order to create more sophisticated services to the patrons. The conversion of the existing clubroom is to provide a temporary pro-shop whilst extended facilities are being built.

The design solution must comply with the BCA, AS , Local Authority, Health and Fire Regulations as well as market and client driven constraints. Sustainable design principles should be considered.
